Event: Garden Open House 2023

Idaho Firewise will be hosting a Garden Open House event on Saturday, June 3rd, 2023! This free event will be held at the Idaho Firewise Garden in Boise from 10 am until 2 pm. Staff, volunteers, and collaborators will be available for visitor engagement and to answer questions about fire-resistant landscaping, home hardening, and suggested plant species. Educational materials and garden tours will also be available! Enjoy an outing with friends or family and explore our demonstration garden grounds!

From downtown Boise:

Head East on E Warm Springs Ave
Turn Left onto Old Penitentiary Rd
Pass the Idaho Botanical Garden entrance & parking lot
Pass the Old Idaho Penitentiary entrance
Keep going through the chained gate area
Park on CWI Horticulture grounds near the barns or greenhouses
