WUI Culture

Every Yard Counts is a campaign where Idaho Firewise and our collaborators are working with the Green Industry to educate Nursery and Landscape Professionals on best practices for creating survivable space around Idaho homes and communities.

Idaho Firewise, in partnership with the College of Western Idaho and the Boise Fire Department, now offers an Idaho Firewise Landscape Professional Certification Course.

This course is available for professional landscapers and gardeners, arborists, landscape architects and designers, nursery staff, and horticulture students.

Training opportunities are available as demand requires. The course is currently being offered approximately twice a year. If you are in need of completing a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) to retain your certification, please submit email inquires to Andrea or to our general Every Yard Counts address, eyc@idahofirewise.org, for available CEU options.
